new window to small

when i click on a link and it opens anew window all i get
is a blue toolbar approx 1 in long how to i set it to
open maximised i tried to resise it but i still opens up

What happen when you click F11 ?

Hi Connie,

1. Open a link.
2. Don't use the maximize button.
3. Stretch the edges/corners so that the window fills the screen.
4. Close all other IE windows.
5. Close the stretched window last.

However, the above procedure is not equivalent to SHOWMAXIMIZED API call.
Best option is to use "IE New Window maximizer"
