New Window opens minimized and not same as parent window

When I have the parent window open which is maximized, I
then open a second window, it does not open maximized
instead half of it is open. I read the article (257087)
which I will need to change something in the registry to
fix this. Does anyone know what I have to do, to have
that second window maximized as well?

Try stretching the small window to full size. (Do not use Maximize)
Ensure that window is the last one closed and IE should remember the
size next time.

Hi Alan,
tried that however it does not remember it. This is an
app that was designed in house that uses IE 6. Would you
happen to know what the registry setting would be? or
where to look? the page you sent me unfortunately does
not exist.

No idea what happened to that page but the Registry key you want is
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main

Delete "Window_Placement"
