New window no address..

Whenever I click on a link that opens a new window, it
opens the window fine but the address bar is blank, and it
won't load the page it just sits there. However if I stop
the page from trying to load the address appears in the
address box, and then if I press the refresh button it
loads it fine. Though it doesn't work with java scripts.
So in a nutshell, addresses don't show up in new windows
it's a pain and I want to get it fixed. Any help would be
greatly appreciated.
