"New" warning popup dialog in Outlook 2002

Whenever I open an e-mail, task, contact or most anything
else in the program I get an official looking dialog
complete with official looking help screen which reads as
follows:A program is trying to access e-mail addresses
you have stored in Outlook. Do you want to allow this?
If this is unexpected, it may be a virus and you should
choose "No".

If I choose Yes, the computer locks up. If I choose no,
everything seems to be fine. But that annoying popup
dialog keeps showing up.

Is this a bona-fide feature of Outlook 2002 or do I have
some sort of a virus warning me of possible virus
activity? I have used Norton AV with update virus
definitions and nothing shows up in the scan.

This is part of the security features of OL2002, you will
find this box gets REALLY anoying, but I suppose it's
there for you own good :(

Some people use a program called clik yes program, which
does what it says on the tin..

It clicks the yes button for you!

Hope this helps!

Is there a solution to this? It is indeed very annoying
to have to click that additonal button everytime!

I solved my own problem. I ran "detect and repair" from
the help menu using the more radical option - to discard
my custom settings.

The popup warning is gone.
