I had a profile become corrupted and I cannot add a new
user, as an administrator. It just says could not load
profile access denied, Please help, I can't do much on
this computer because it is loading a temp profile and no
setting are saved. If I reinstall win 2000, will this help
so I can add a new user?? or do I have to reformat the
hard drive and start from scatch (god I hope not)???

Are there any other user accounts already on the computer? If so you
can you give them admin rights? If so then they can delete the
Administrator's profile. If not you can do a parallel install of
Windows 2000 and delete the Administrator profile. Then log back on
the old installation and the Administrator profile will be recreated.

It sounds as if your Default User profile is corrupt. Do you have
another similar server that you can copy the Default User profile
from and then delete your current one and replace it with the copied
one?
