A new Dell PC comes with "Learn XP", "Help and Support
Center", and "Dell Solution Center" which are similar to
what you mentioned. You can look for the programs
in "Search" if you still have them on your PC, otherwise
reinstalling XP will not replace these interactive
programs back in your PC. Sorry!

Oliver, the program you mentioned sounds like "Microsoft Interactive
Training." As near as I can tell it's made by Microsoft and installed
only by OEMs. It's an excellent program, not only for newbies, but for
anyone coming from Win 9x. Call Dell and see if that's what you're
looking for.

Hello Oliver,

I have a Dell machine, and until I just read your message I don't think I
had ever come across what you are looking for. In any case, if you follow
the steps below, I'm pretty sure this is what you want.

Open Help and Support

Click on "What's new in Windows XP" in left side of screen

Click on "Taking a tour or tutorial" in left pane

In right Pane, click on "Overview: Welcome to Windows XP Home
Edition"

By the way, Help/About states that the name of this course is "Microsoft
Interactive Training with LearnITCorp Simulation Technology," and it's
copyrighted 1998-2001 to Microsoft Corporation.

Enjoy the training course.

1. All caps is difficult to read and is considered shouting and therefore
rude.
2. Asking newsgroup readers to respond to your inbox rather than share with
everyone deprives other of the info.
3. Making your real e-mail address available to the entire world includes
making it available to spammers and to virus spreaders.
