new user problem

Hi
In W2K server I create a new user. I set up for the programs and I put the
the shortcuts on his desktop. When I logon there is no shortcut on the
desktop. What can I do?

How are you putting the programs on his desktop? Logged
on as admin??? If so, you're putting the icons on the
admin desktop. Log on as the user and add them, or add
them via a modified default user profile template.

If you don't understand the very basics of user profiles,
what company has you adding users in a Windows 2000 Server?
