new user logon

Attempting to logon as one of the newly created users, I
get this message: The local Policy of this system does not
permit you to logon interactively.
I am new to AD, so I assume I still have more to set up.
What am I missing?

You are probably trying to logon locally on your domain controller ? Normal
users don't have this right on domain controllers. You must alter Domain
Controller Security Policy for this to work and add Logon Locally right to
Users.
