Logon Error

I have two Domain Controllers on my network. I have a separate group of
Terminal Services users with a Group Policy in place. I can successfully
logon to one DC and the Group Policy works very well. However, on the other
DC I receive one of two errors, depending on which account I am trying to
logon with: 1. Windows cannot copy the file , C:\Documents and
Settings\default user to C:\Documents and Settings\default user.domain name.,
2. The local policy of this system does not permit you to logon
interactively.
Any help with this situation, would be deeply appreciated.
Thank you.

Hi,

DC’s don’t allow regular users to login. This is set in the Local
Security Policy or in the Security Policy section on the Domain
Controllers Group Policy.

The second one is a weird one I have seen before. For some reason when
a server is part of a workgroup and then joined to a domain, sometimes
the All Users and the Default Users are seen as "local" so the
default users.mydomain.com and all users.mydomain.com are created.
You can just copy the Default User and create the manual one. Should
fix it.

Cheers,

Lara
