After 21 Months decided to upgrade video card, changed from GTX 560 1Gb to GTX 660 2Gb, a modest upgrade but a noticeable one. New core chipset, more memory, faster everything but tbh no immediately obvious visual improvements except for one thing.
Skyrim had stuttered a little when it got busy, it doesn't anymore. And that's it, so far, but at least I know I have a card that can handle most everything now. The GTX 560 went into my new AMD machine, it won't go to waste, but it does mean I now have a GTX 9800 512Mb spare.
Temps are good, noise level is excellent, better than GTX 560. It came with full version of Futuremark's Benchmark program and a free copy of new game Metro Last Light, which was pretty good. It cost £171 including next day delivery, would have cost £165 for 3-5 day delivery. I bought it from Novatech, mostly cos they had the free game with the card.
I have installed MSI's Afterburner overclocking software but tbh it ain't exactly user-friendly imo and thus far I have not a clue how to use it or what to do with it, bar sliding some sliders over a bit. Not really impressed with it so far.

Nothing like it's predecessor, Metro 2033, this one plays as a good looking first person shooter. There is some stealth involved in places and I don't like stealth games generally speaking, but the stealth is quite mild and tolerable imo.
Out the box there is only one mode to play in, if you want to play in the 'Ranger' mode (I think it's harder) you have to pay for it. Looks like those game publishers are brazen now, at least when 'DLC' first came about they'd have the decency to wait a couple of months before offering any 'extras' to make it look as though they'd made some more but not now, oh no - buy the game and straight away they want more money off of you.
