I have just been given an exchange 2003 account at work. I have all my
appointments contacts, and life in a pst file on my laptop. I'd like to get
all this info into the new exchange account. What's the best way to go
about it? Should I copy the file to my work machine, open it and move stuff
to other folders? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

TIA
Steve

First, check the size of your PST file, and check with your Exchange admins
to find out what your mailbox quota is.
If it will fit, you can use file | import/export | outlook data file .....in
the profile that has the Exchange server loaded. Or open the file, in that
profile, and just copy what you need to your mailbox.

copy it to the work machine and copy or export the items to the exchange
mailbox. if you only have a few things you want to move to the exchange
mailbox, you can try emailing them - use insert, item and select all of the
items. Drag off the email at work and drop on the folders they belong in.

That's what I did. I set Exchange as the default delivery location and
copied just the Contacts and Calendar to the Exchange server (since that's
all I wanted on the server). My old mail I kept in the PST, with new mail
being delivered to the server. I move mail from the server to the PST as I
deal with it.
