New startup entry.

After installing the new Internet Explorer 7.0 I noticed ctfmon.exe in the
start-up list.I've tried to disable it and it is replaced with another one
and one for a warning from msconfig.I've tried to open the folder and was
directed to a directory web-site that said Windows uses this with 7.0.I
really like to keep my start-up list to a minimum.Spyboy Search & Destroy
says it is spyware, malware, virus or some other resorce hog.Is there a way to
get rid of it permantly? What will happen if I do?

Thanks "AJR"!I only have one Office XP product and have never used it.It is
the Powerpoint Viewer.I got rid of it and followed the instructions for
ctfmon.exe removal and the entry is gone after restart.I should have checked
out these Newsgroups a long time ago.
