New Site

I have recently published my website with FP '03 and I would like for the
opening page to be a "Site under construction" page, but still be able to get
to the true home page myself (unavailable to the public), maybe with a hidden
link or something? Any suggestions? Thanks. -W

Just type in the address the first time and then bookmark it.

Name your "true home page" something like index2.htm (or index2.html).
When you are ready for the world to see it, simply rename it to
index.htm or index.html.

You can make your default page have the under construction, and then just
make a second page that would be your real main page. When you're dong
you'll have to over-write the underconstruction page. For example:
default.htm is the under construction and default2.htm is the real page.

What is even easier though, if your host allows you to create more than one
FrontPage web, you could simply have the main site's default page be the
under construction page, then publish your real web site to a sub-directory,
such as www.mysite.com/test Then you could look at the www.mysite.com/test
and see what you've been working on, but everyone else going to
www.mysite.com will get an under construction page.
