A new site (I think) for your delectation.

http://www.mjleaver.com/Software/software.htm

Donationware.

From site:

InstallSpy v1.01 Download (1,025KB)
Windows 2003, XP, 2000, and NT4(SP6)

This is not spyware, but a program to help you discover spyware! Track
any and all changes to the registry and file system, and also record
all shell notification events (e.g. media inserted), when a program is
installed, uninstalled, or run. This can warn you of programs trying
to install new services, programs that are set to run on reboot,
changes to your home page, etc. It's a highly configurable program
that allows you to catch any change to your system. Filtering lets you
zoom down to the details that are most important to you.

FireLogXP v1.11 Download (616KB)
All versions of Windows

This is a simple program for people using the Internet Connection
Firewall (ICF) in Windows XP. It will read the log file and show you
who is trying to get into your computer, and through which ports. The
data can be filtered to include/exclude protocols, connection types,
and TCP flags. It includes connections to on-line resources to give
you more information on what a specific port is for and how it may be
being exploited.

SyncBack v1.01 Download (625KB)
All versions of Windows

Easily backup or synchronize your important files. This provides the
same functionality as programs such as EasySync, but with more options
and control over what files are copied. Highly configurable, but
simple to use.

FingerPrint v1.01 Download (614KB)
All versions of Windows

A utility to see if any files in one or more directories have been
created, deleted, or changed since the last scan. It's useful for
checking if a program, e.g. viruses and trojans, has changed your
all-important Windows files (this is similar to such security software
as Tripwire). The use of MD5 checksums guarantee detection of file
changes.

Björn, thanks for the correction. Please let us know if you have any
problems with software from www.mjleaver.com/Software/software.htm.

Also good to know that about advanced-anti-spy. I was thinking of
giving it a try. I'll be sure to check the ng's for more info.
