I HAVE WINDOWS XP MEDIA CENTER AND DSL SERVICE.
DO I NEED A SPECIAL MODEM INSTALLED IN SYSTEM AND WILL IT WORK WITH DSL.

You cannot fax over a digital modem (which is what DSL is)... you can only
fax over an old analog fax. You can either purchase a fax modem or use an
online service line www.efax.com
