New Servernow visible in Domain

I have just installed a new windows 2K server and for some
reason it is not visible in my domain. I can ping the new
server by IP and server name. Both are ok. I can sit at
the new server and ping another workstation by IP and name
or ping my router or NT4 PDC. All are ok. I can also see
the new server in the server manager of my NT4 PDC.
However, I cannot drill down and see the new server
through "My Network Places" from another workstation on
the network. I also cannot map a drive to this new server.
I have made sure both the DNS and the WINS are the same
for at the workstation and the PDC.
Id really like any input on this if possible. I've been
stuck on this for about a week and need to move forward.

Thanks,

Win2K DNS is NOT the same as internet DNS. And Win2K uses DNS for
everything. The Win2K server wants a Primary Zone for YOUR local network.
Set up a DNS server with forwarding enabled on either the Win2K server
(Dynamic) or on the NT PDC. Which, depends on the future plans for your
Domain (i.e. using AD). Then have all your clients use that DNS server.
OR since you have WINS install NetBuie on the Win2K.
OR edit your HOSTS files.
You need to resolve the the method of Name Resolution for YOUR network.
