NEW SENT EMAILS END UP IN DELETED FOLDER ?

Hope someone can help on this strange problem with one of our users who has
w2k sp4 with outlook 2002 sp1.

Not all, but some emails this user thought she had sent have ended up in the
deleted items folder showing this has not been sent. She uses offline
outlook and sychronisation which I suspect may be the cause ? The deleted
items folder containts lots of synchronisation logs which should be here but
how can genuine emails have failed to send and ended up in the bin ??

I have checked for rules - she has none set ?

Any suggestions please !!!

Carolyn,

If they are on Outlook 2002 sp1 the first step would be to update the
service pack. Outlook sp3 is out and resolves a number of issues.

Does anyone else have access to the mailbox, directly or as added mailbox?

If the following has been done: Rules have been checked; no one else has
access, and upgraded to Outlook SP3 but still having an issue.

I would next create a new profile (keep the existing) to see if the new
profile has the same issue.
