new security updates

was prompted to install 4 new security updates and after they finished and
restarted my pc and loging on to my user i recive an error stating
the system issued a command but the comand length is incorrect please
contact your administrator
i have windows xp with sp2

I have the same problem. I did as was stated in the original message too.
Same problem occurs when I try safe mode. Only way to get in the system is
to do F8 and use 'last good known configuration'. Then I get need to load 3
other updates.
