"new programs installed"

How do i stop this bloody message coming up over the start button every time
i log in! .... (did load a few programs recently, and have used them, but
message still coming up! ...

Right Click on Start, go to Properties, choose the Start Menu Tab, click on
Customize, click on the Advanced Tab and uncheck "Highlight newly installed
programs"
