New program installed always comes up

I have saw this same question before, but could not find it. Every time I
click "Start" the "New program installed" comes up. It started this a
couple days ago. I do have SP2 but have had it installed since the day it
came out. I did install a couple new programs about the time it started. I
did the usual thing of opening "All programs" after installing to see if
everything was ok. Only this time it does not shut off. Any Idea?
