new problems: Backup fails.

A new problem just came up. I was able to create restore points even today, last time a few hours ago. No I get an error.

The restore point could not be created for the following reason:

Windows cannot create a shadow copy due to internal error in other system components. For more information view the event log 0x81000109

The event log says event ID 12290, warning, Sorry, no online help. Knowledge base is not responsible for it.

The previous error (event ID 40961) is
ASR Error: Failed to collect critical information for ASR Backup. Reason: Unable to obtain disk information for device 0 (Win32 error code 0x2).

Then another previous one (error ID 51):

An error was detected on device \Device\CdRom1 during a paging operation. Again Sorry, No help.

All errors are coming from CD ROM (C.

What can I do to fix it?

Is the Disk Clean up option going to be useful here?
