New Problem - Am I Hijacked?

Ok, A couple days ago my IE started messing up. First off, I am running XP
and never had a problem until now. It is a couple problems. First, when I
have more than 1 window open and I go back from one window to the other the
IE window is messed up. The buttons at the top go transparent and my link bar
disappears and everything on the web page is gone. I must close IE to fix it.
Then, sometimes when I close it I get some pop-ups for winfixer.com. They are
like error message pop-ups with a Ok or Cancel button. Either way it opens up
windows to go the teir site. Usually crashing my IE in the process. I am
using Yahoo pop-up blocker and I have ran Spybot and Windows Anti-spyware
programs and they found nothing. I used Hijack This but I didnt see anything
unknown to me. I am going crazy. I can only use IE for a couple min before it
crashes. Any clues?

Hi Matthew :)

Category: Foistware
Explanation: Foistware can be any unwanted application that is "foisted" on
you....either by non-disclosure or making it impossible to use another
program without using the "foistware" item. Depending on the application, it
may show pop-ups or attempt to install via active X. It is also categorized
as adware/spyware. Did you run both the AdAware and SpyBot "in Safe Mode
with Hidden files enabled? If not, then you should do that to make sure no
files are hiding in any Windows system files in use.

After re-running the AdAware and SpyBot in Safe Mode and Hidden Files
enables, run HiJackThis again and save the log. Then post it to one of the
forums listed below. It is important that you go to one of the HiJackThis
Support Forums below. If you are not fully experienced in how to analyize
the log, you may not know which files should be removed, and removing any
required file could seriously damage your system.
