New PC

:crybaby: Hello Everyone. I'm pretty new t
computers and I need help. I the finishing stages of own custom buil
pc and now stuck with a problem that is driving me nuts

Specs

Pentium D 930+ 3GHz Dual core
Asrock 775VM800Pro DDR2 Motherboard (LG775)
Geil 1GB DDR2 533MHz ram
ATI Radeon 9600 Pro 256MB Video card
Western Digital 120GB EIDE HDD
Asus DVD drive.

Now I installed all these except for the video card. When I turn o
the pc, it turns on, but nothing shows on the screen. No beep
nothing. The pc just runs with out any action at all

Now the MB says to use ATA133 HD, but I have IDE hdd.



Can anyone help me please

You didn't mention the power supply. Most likely suspects:
1) Power supply too weak
2) Cabling not hooked up correctly. Review the motherboard owner's manual
carefully to make sure that ALL connections are correct. If they all look
good, disconnect EVERYTHING from the motherboard (except CPU and CPU fan)
and start over.

Oh, and ATA133 is a form of IDE. -Dave
