new PC, FP disk bad need full ver of FP2K

I recently got a new PC with WinXP Pro. I want to reinstall my version for
FP2K but the disk must be bad because I get a error {System cannot read from
specified device} this isn't a hardware problem, the CD ROM drives reads all
other disks fine. I can browse the FD2K cd fine. I can make the error happen
again when I double-click the setup file. I have a legitmate product code,
just need the software.

Try copying the contents of the CD to your hard drive and installing it from
there.
