New Paper for Canon Found

I don't think it's new, but I'd thought I'd mention that Fry's has GQ-Great
Quality Professional Quality Photo paper for 1.99 . I've never seen the
wrapper before so I wondered if it was a new line of theirs. I bought it
because, A: it was cheap and B: it says on the front that it will work with
Canon as a high quality paper. I did two prints and the results are
stunning. At less than 10 cents a sheet, it was a steal. I used Ilford's
paper settings (-15 yellow, intensity +5 , photo paper pro custom settings.)

Sounds good, but --- any idea about durability of the
print?

You could run a test of your own. The following will give
food for thought., as they say. Make four identical prints
and
- put one of the prints in a south facing window;
- put one of the prints under a fluorescent light which you
leave one 24/7;
- put third print in the oven at about 200 fahrenheit,
along with a pan of hot water. Leave it there for 6-8
hours. Look at it at one hour intervals if possible.

Let us know what happens to the third print, and what the
other two look like in a month or so.
