New page insert

Help, this is driving me crazy.

I have done my CV in publisher but need to convert to `word` to attach to
email for agencies.
I have managed by copy and pasting (with difficulty) to get 1 page done, I
basically have 4 boxes with info in them.

I am now at the bottom of the page and need a new page for page 2 I cannot
find anywhere how to insert a new page.
I cannot get the cursor to work outside the boxes either, as normally this
would click down and create a new page.

Help please.
thanks

Press Ctrl+End to go to the end of the document body. Then press Ctrl+Enter
to insert a page break.

Note, however, that building a Word document with text boxes is not a very
good approach. It would make more sense to just copy and paste the text, and
then format it as desired in Word.

When I try that the cursor just jumps into the first of the 4 boxes, I will
try as you say and build with text.

I believe pasting text only will be the easiest solution, yes.

However, I must say that I'm puzzled by the behavior of the document. Did
you protect parts of it, by any chance? The reason I ask is that, normally,
you should always be able to get to the final paragraph mark in the body of
a Word document by pressing Ctrl+End.

To show/hide paragraph (¶) marks as well as other nonprinting marks, press
Ctrl+Shift+8.

As mentioned I got it sorted by copy/paste but it was acting strangely, I
evntually saved to a PFD format as well from publisher so its all sorted.

However I think something else was at play as today it kept asking to be
opened in safe mode and then wouldn`t open in save mode and then it went to
a repair mode and after the repair I had to accept "microsoft terms &
conditions", Also when I tried to open an excel spreadsheet the same was
happening but when trying to repair it was repairing word instead of excel.

I eventually used system restore and backdated a couple of days and all has
been fine since then.

Thanks for your input.
regards
