Has anyone tried Ethersnoop light? How does it compare to Ethereal? I
never tried ethereal because I heard that it conflicts with Kerio.

I have both installed.Ethereal seems to have many more options (hence its
about 14 meg compared to ethersnoops 3) , but for simple packet sniffing
ethersnoop works very well.I quite like its simplicity.

Thank you for your reply. It looks like ethersnoop is more like what I
want. Does it install as a device driver when windows loads or is it
more like an application that one can run whenever needed and exit it?

Runs like an application...when needed...ethereal works that way to.
