New Outlook 2003 installation problem

Hi,
My XP PC has been playing up recently, so I decided to reformat my hard
drive and re-install everything, which has gone OK. I saved my old
Outlook.pst file and copied it over the same file in the new installation.
Everthing seems fine (mail, contacts, calendar), except that when I compose
a new email and hit the "To" button to get the email address of my contacts,
I get this error message "The address list could not be displayed. The
contacts folder asssociated with this address list could not be opened, it
may have been moved or deleted or you do not have permissions. For
information on how to remove the folder from the Outlok Address Book, see
Microsoft Outlook Help"
I don't understand this message - can anyone help please?
Regards,
Robin Blackwell

Why you would overwrite a PST file mystifies me. Where did you ever see that
as a recommended procedure?
It is hard to know how deeply you have managed to corrupt your profile.
We'll start at the surface and hope that's all there is. Just reset your
Outlook Address Book. If that solves your problems, consider yourself lucky.
