new MS beta rule on MS MAS site

J

Jan

Hi all NON english windows operating system users, i found
a new phrase on the MAS internet site.

-----
Important Notes

English only:
The current beta is intended only for English language
versions of the Microsoft Windows operating system. It
should not be deployed on non-English versions
------

This is the way how MS solves the problems to get lesser
problems with their latest beta release.

After fooling around with Giant Antispyware code
(it is like trail and error programming), it is now time
to fooling around with legitimate foreign non english
speaking customers who are using non english windows XP
and WIN2k versions. What the hell is MS doing.

The beta has been English only from day one. It is stated more clearly at
the website now, but this isn't a new bit of information. I've been
startled at how wide a range of users are able to make it work, but the
English only requirement has always been there.
