MS beta vs Giant last released version

I had been using the Giant antispyware shorty before MS
tookover and shut them down.

As I assume that the released version of Giant was
stable, I cant see why the MS beta spyware, that looks
exactly like Giant, should not be as stable. Why would
they take over a company to buy their technology and then
release a product that was dangerous? Does not make sense!

Paul;
Define dangerous.
However the product is new to Microsoft and perhaps Microsoft felt a testing
and improvement time as a Beta product is in order.
With Microsoft owning it, it is probable to get far more exposure and more
likely to find problems missed by the smaller client base.
It does make sense classifying it as a Beta until Microsoft is satisfied.

Paul why do you think it is dangerous? Have you had a bad experience from
it? If so please report it to (e-mail address removed).

I have been using the beta from the start and have found a few minor issues
with it, but I have not found it to be "Dangerous"

well Microsoft did make minor changes to the Giant code. Dunno what you mean
with "dangerous" because I haven't seen any cases where AntiSpyware caused
major problems.

You say that like it's a bad thing. Every night I pray that
I have a company that Microsoft "takes over" and "shuts
down". Like Raymond says, I'll cry "on a bag of money". :)
