New mail not always showing up

I have a user whose new mail is delayed (or doesn't show up unless they
click send/receive). The delay can up to a couple hours. We have Exchange
2003 and the client has Outlook XP (all latest updates). I can track the
mail in Exchange and it shows that is arrives shortly after it is sent by
another user, but it is delayed getting to Outlook. Do I need to open a
port in Windows firewall (XP SP2) so we don't have to do the manual
send/receive? Any ideas would be appreciated.

We are having the same problems here too, Outlook XP with all the service
packs. The only diff. is we have XP firewall turned off. But there is also
another tip that I found on technet >>

Of course not sure if the registry fix will solve the issue as it is Friday
and I will not be able to test until Monday. If you get it to work, let me
know.
