Hello,

I have a problem with Outlook 2000, 2003 and Exchange 2000. It can take up
until 20 min. from a mail has been sent to a mail has been received. If the
user opens another mail the new mail arrived with no delay.

Anyone know where i could look for this delay ?

Regards
René

Firewall settings. Sounds like some UDP ports have been blocked.

Its internal as well, when i send a mail on my LAN its the same problem. I
can send a mail from my computer to another computer on same switch an the
only FW is MS FW installed in XP.

Disable it and see if it works now. Also see if all updates are in place.
You can also deploy firewall settings to create an exception for Outlook.

That did the job, i added Outlook to the exception list and then it worked.

Thank you for your help.

Regards
René
