New ISP, new default search engine. How do I change email address

This is a question of much ignorance I'm afraid.

I was with the ISP e7even, using Google as my default search engine. I am
now with Toucan, and using Google (Mozilla-Firefox option) as my default
search engine. My old email address based on my computer is now defunct.

I am not sure how to begin creating a new email address for myself, (I have
gmail, but need a computer based one as well...).

I'm sorry this is such an idiot question.

I would recommend to you, just to use a unique " E-mail " address world-wide
from Microsoft that you can use forever. Everytime that you open an account
with any Internt Service Provider (ISP). you'r gonna get a new e-mail
account. Once you cancel the Internet Service, that e-mail address provided
from the ISP is useless.
Visit this site from MSN, to set up your e-mail, or just copy and paste the
link in your address bar from internet explorer. It's easy and quick -->
