new install

I recently purchased a new system and it came with XP Service Pack 2, it has
alot of "bugs" and i don't like it. Was very comfortable with Service Pack
1, wanted to convert it by fdisking drive and installing xp sp1, but computer
won't recognize the xp sp1 disk, how do i rollback the new system to read the
xp sp1 disk.

If your computer came with Windows XP w/SP2, you cannot
remove SP2. What problems are you having? It would be best
to diagnosis and correct the problems rather than attempting to
revert back, which you cannot do anyway.
