Hi,
I am trying to install a 30GB IBM Travelstar into my Sony Vaio laptop,
and am using the System Recovery CD-ROMS that came with the laptop.
During the C: partition at exactly 23% complete, the process stops and
says "critical error". I've re-ran the system recover, and the same
error occurs at the same point!
Does this mean the harddrive is totally bad? or is there a way to still
get the drive to work even if not 100% usuable.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks and Regards,
John
