I ADDED A MAXTOR DIAMONDMAX PLUS 9 200GB ATA 133 HDD TO
MY WINDOWS XP SYSTEM. MY MOTHERBOARD IS SOYO SYP400X
PLATINIUM//IT RECOGNIZES 203GB OF AVAILABE USAGE BUT
WINDOWS ONLY RECOGNIZES 137GB..I WENT TO MAXTOR SITE AND
DOWNLOADED A BIG DRIVE ENABLER PROGRAM THAT SUPPOSEDELY
WORKS WITH WINDOWS XP WITH SP1 WHICH I HAVE.. THIS DOES
NOT WORK//I HAVE THE LATEST BIOS FROM SOYO FOR MY MOTHER
BOARD/////I AM AT A LOSS!! ANY SUGGESTIONS?????

Whne you say "Windows," are you referring to Windows Explorer or Disk
Management? Explorer only shows existing partitions, while Disk
Management should show the entire drive, including its partitions and
unallocated space.

Hard Disk Support msust be enabled inorder for Windows
to recognize Drives larger than 2GB. U must re partition &
format drive and install OS.
