'New' folder too full

How do I go about removing stuff from the list of items
that appear when I right click my desktop and choose 'New'?

Like what do you want to remove?
 
Hi Juanita,

Go to Start/Run and type in: shellnew. This is what is listed in the new
folder. To remove from the registry: Start/Run/Regedit

You can also go to a specific File extension (example:
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\.txt\ShellNew) and right click on the ShellNew key and
select Delete, if the item shows up in the New context menu.

Otherwise, use TweakUI/Templates and uncheck accordingly.
