Unfortunately, what you have probably just done is expose your email address
to malicious email spammers. They frequent newsgroups (or send the spam bots
out to do the dirty work) to harvest email addresses off of newsgroups. I
strongly recommend that you alter your email address if you are going to post
it to a newsgroup so that a human can interpret it, but that a spam bot might
not.
Something like: FirstName dot LastName at SomeDomain dot commercial
which most of us would read as: (e-mail address removed)
