New Email send and reply buttons are grayed out!!

In Outlook 2003, I am unable to reply, forward or create new email because
those buttons are grayed out. My email server is an Exchange 2003 server.
Any help is appreciated.
 
Have you tried creating a new profile?

Yes I have. Luckily I exported the Inbox into a PST earlier. I no longer
have the option to Import and Export on the File menu as well. After I've
recreated the profile I still have the same buttons grayed out.
 
Are you the Exchange admin? If not, have you asked him or her for some help
with this? (I'm not much of an Exchange expert...) If it's an Outlook
issue, you could try running Detect and Repair from the help menu. You'd
need to have the Office installation CD handy.
