Cannot send - New, Reply, Forward disabled

I am usng Outlook 2003 (SP2) and abrubtly the "New", Reply/Replay All and
Forward functions and keys are grayed out. I am continuing to receive emails
but cannot send / reply new ones through Outlook.

Any help would be appreciated.

Check Tools | E-mail Accounts and make sure the SMTP server settings on your
account are still right.

thanks for advice - I was grayed out in Tools & email accounts, and could
not check. However, I use Outlook to check POP/IMAP for 3 different emails
ervers, and all were disabled. My "solution" was to re-install Outlook -
which worked, but not what I consider a prblem solver...
