New Desktop Selection

Please excuse the newsgroup selection. I am not sure where to post this
inquiry.

I have purchased 4 Gateway desktop computers during the past 6 years P11 -
P4. Upgraded memory and OS in each and have been generally pleased with
their performance. I am considering making another purchase but have
reservations about buying another Gateway b/c of their declining market
share and financial instability.
Dell seems to be the best pick. Any comments / advise would be welcomed.

Dell is a good choice, so is IBM. According to recent reviews done by
PCMag, the top three for service were IBM, Toshiba, and Dell. You
can probably find various reviews of all makes and models by doing a
Google search.

BTW, the "Cow Boxes" are good machines. Declining market share or
not.
