New Default Mail profile keeps being created

I have just installed Office 2003 on to a brand new pc. I set up a mail user
for the person logging in - connecting to out Exchange 2003 Server. However,
everytime this user logs in to the pc, it ignores the mail profile I have
created and sets up a default mail user - however, when it does this, she
gets a dialog box appearing which says "Outlook is about to import
information into your E-mail Accounts. This can potentially modify or
replace your existing E-mail account settigns. Would you like to import the
account settings? (Outlook will be opened after you click Yes or No.)"

If the user says Yes - it creates a Backup1 copy of the Default profile -
and so on every time she logs in until she has several Backup copies.

Is there any way I can stop it creating the new default mail profile and
just use the profile that I tell it to use? I do delete the other profies
but this seems to make no difference.

Many thanks.

I am so grateful for your reply. Excuse my ignorance but I'm not sure about
the Exchange query - we have Exchange installed on a Server on its own. This
user does in fact have a logon script.

How can I locate the prf and amend it? I have done a search for a prf file
but couldn't fine it.

I apologise in advance - but I am new to this game!

Regards
Angela

P.S. Just clicked on the link to your Web Site - this may in fact help me
greatly.

open the users account in the active directory - one of the tabs will tell
you where the log on script is. Open the script in notepad and see what all
it loads - the paths should be included.
