Start > Control Panel > Regional & Language Options
Customize
Currency Tab
Change the currency.
Apply
OK
(These are for Windows XP but you should be able to "follow your nose"
after double clicking on Regional)
Usually currencies available are limited to a narrow range based on
your country setting but there is nothing to stop you inserting a
different one.

Hi,
Thanx.
I have tried that, however, whenever I reopen excel application, the
error "No more custom format can be added" prompted.
Moreover, "$" sign disappear from Selection list. What I am expecting is
new currency say "S$" first, then followed by normal "$" sign.
Any suggestion?
(about 4000 isn't enough for you and many of my co-workers!)"

I've seen a couple of posts that say that OpenOffice can open files with too
many formats--ones that some versions of excel have trouble with.
I'm not sure if this is a problem for you (yet!), but you may want to get a copy
of OpenOffice so you can clean up some of those custom formats (if/when you have
trouble with xl).
