Define Currency

Using Excel 2000, when I click on currency button (formatting toolbar) I get
the dollar symbol, however I want the symbol always to display as Euro.

How do I make this the default currency value displayed?

Format>style, then from dropdown select currency and then modify it to your
liking

Maybe your computer has the dollar as default currency. If this is the case,
you can change it from the Control Panel in Windows, *but* this affect *all*
the application you use.
