New Contact Folder

Is there a way to make a new contact folder so that when I synch my phone I
don't necessarily have to have all the email addresses added. So I wanted
folder with only certain addresses but also wanted to be able to copy from
the original contacts folder and then edit it to the way I want it.

You can certainly make new contact folders in Outlook (File>New>Folder), but
whether or not your sync software will handle them is a question for the
vendor of said software. Synching is the sole responsibility of the sync
tool. Outlook doesn't participate, except to hold the data.

Brian is right about the sync software handling that. Most sync software,
in my experience, only syncs the default Contacts folder.

You could create a second Contacts folder which would hold your main
contacts and use the regular Contacts folder only for items you do want to
sync to your phone.
