New Clean Install

I just re-installed XP Pro (finally after hours and hours of pulling my hair out over the missing or corrupted hal.dll message) Installation has finally been sucessfull but now Im stumped again...

Im at the welcome screen and it asking for the Administrator Password....I never set up any accounts during installation...or asigned a admin password...

What do I do

Just click on 'OK' without entering any password.

I did try tha

I get the following logon error

The system cannot log you on due the following error
The specified domain either does not exist or could not be contacted
Please try again or consult your system administrator.

Do you have a "domain" dropdown on the logon dialog? If so, select your
computer's name from this list.
