new build , old problem remains

i have installed the new build , but the conflict between the symantec
resource protector from symantec antivirus 2006 and the "msmpeng" from
windows defender the real-time protection from it , iff i'm correct remains.

seen in the log of symantec , msmpeng is trying to break in in the symantec
program wich protects itself from it , and so you get troubles maybe...

Details are already reported many times here in the application
compatibility section.

i have learned thats it not oke to use 2 programs with real-time protection
at the same time , i use now symantec antivirus and firewall 2006 , and also
defender

maybe i better get rid of defender....

thats the question and the report of the remaining problem.....

Why not just turn off Defender's RTP until a fix is found for the conflict
with Symantec? Then you would have it available for scans and not have to
reinstall later. I believe they will eventually find a way to solve this, I
hope. Frankly, I'm glad I use McAfee. I understand that if you use Norton
Internet Security's latest release, it is not compatible with Spybot S&D and
Spybot has to be uninstalled. What's with that???

i had turned real-time protection off from defender and then everything was
oke, but with the new installation of the new build it turned on by default ,
and i saw the problem again wich was not resolved .

i can turn it again off , but then is my protection less , because defender
is than only a on demand scanner ...

i dont now if the conflict has more issues then the log in the symantec
resource protector.

I removed spybot because it gives troubles with symantec , no conflict with
defender.
the new symantec 2006 antivirus and firwall , witch was for free wit the
antivirus ( not the 2005 wich i used with spybot very good) takes over the
windows safety center (a translation from dutch ) and spybots alerts that ,
you can shut that section dowm in advanced settings , but i keeps giving
issues with the symantec 2006 , never erer with the 2005 version .

I was a very satisfied user of the 2005 symantec but the 2006 will probaly
protect my computer very well ( see test of av-comparives) but is a very ,
very dominant program to use other programs together wit it .

I'm buying next year something else , or i use a free antivirus like avg ,
avast or antivir together with the defender , spybot again and ad-adware free
version.
