New ATI Drivers (3.9) - Do they fix the HALO for PC Problem?

Just as the subject says - anyone try it?

Recently reverted to 3.0 to get the game to not reboot each time I changed
video settings.

Take a look in the config.txt file in your Program Files/Microsoft
Games/Halo directory for the support graphics cards, and then try the new
one.
