Hello,
I have Outlook 2003, in Calendar when I try to set a future appointment it
always gets set for the current day date and time. I have checked the time
zones in the Outlook Options area and control panel, time zones are set
correctly. Help!!

To create an appointment I've tried it 2 ways:
1. File menu\New Appointment
2. Double clicking on a specific date and time on the calendar grid.

Type in the Subject check the Start Time and End Time are correct then Save
and Close the Appointment.

It goes back to the current time.

I have a client that has the same problem.
I tried a Detect and Repair - didn't fix it.
Also uninstalled and reinstalled Outlook 2003 - didn't fix it.
However, when I view the appointments in Outlook Today, the appts are listed
correctly.
Anyone have any ideas?

Joe, I have the same issue. In Outlook today it's correct but when you go to
the actual appointment date it's not there, it's found on the day I created
the appointment????

Some told me to recreate the Calendar file but I don't know how to do that
without having to re-type everything for a year? Unacceptable.

Joe this is what I was told to do:
"We ended up having to recreate the mailbox on the exchange server. I
tried using the users MAPI entry on my computer and same thing. After
recreating the mailbox it worked fine."

How do you "recreate" the mailbox and have all your current emails and
appointments in there?

Giselle,

What I did for this client was create a new pst file and imported all the
messages, calendar etc... into it.
Seems to have solved his problem.
I don't know anything about exchange server but I would think you could do
the same for the email messages. Maybe one of the outlook Gurus could
confirm this.
