New 9800 Pro but refreshes at only 60Hz

I bought a ATI 9800 Pro today, insalled it, things did not work, so
I reinstalled NP fresh, things are still not working! HELP!!!!

No matter what I do, I am unable to get the monitor to refresh at
anything other then 60Hz.

In: Display Properties --> Settings --> Advanced

1: Adapter --> List All Modes... --> 1152 by 864, High Color (16 bit), 85Hz
2: Adapter --> Bios Information: BK-ATI VER008.015.069.000
3: Adapter --> Properties --> Driver --> Driver Version: 6.14.10.6414
4: Monitor --> Sreen Refresh rate --> 85 Hertz

When I have Windows Explorer open, it flickers bad, like it is
running 60Hz. Also, when I press the menu button on the monitor it
tells me that it is only running at 60Hz. The monitor is on a KVM
and another machine is running at 75Hz and I have had this machine
running at higher refresh rates with other brand cards (NVidia).

Does anyone have any thoughts on what I should do?

Check Device Manager to ensure that it lists your Monitor correctly by Brand
and Model. If not reinstall your monitor. If XP does not list your
monitor, go to the manufacturer's website and download the inf file for your
monitor and install it. Then your refresh settings should be activated.
